Balenciaga led by Demna Gvasalia is on fire . For spring summer the silhouette was boxy trenches and jackets balanced with skinny spandex pants in bright colors. I had a flashback to Helmut Newton photographs of models in leather trenches tied tightly at the waste and slit at the thigh wearing tall boots and walking to a fashion swagger like no other.
