Paris. The house of Maison Martin Margiela presented a collection of refurbished clothes, remade and reglossed to become haute Couture. It was made clear the man hours it took to make each piece. 70 plus hours for most.

Leigh Bowery was clearly an influence in the embroidered masks each model wore complete with vintage jeans, some dipped in latex and platform boots with crystal spikes.

Maison Martin Margiela calls its couture collection Artisanal.
