SEPTEMBER, MEN STYLE!!

Welcome to the September Issue. “THE BLACK ISSUE”. We hope you’re loving the first few posts. We try to be a bit different and think on a grand scale. The blog focuses on Women’s style but we bring a man in from time to time to balance things a bit. We realize that even a man loves beautiful things. In the 90’s Gianni Versace designed the silk twill printed shirt in our featured image. More than 20 years later it was reissued by his sister Donatella. We loved it then and we love it now. It is a very powerful piece in a wardrobe and so we decide to balance it with subdued pieces, like an Off White blazer, a hoodie by Saint Laurent and another tour de force , a Dior denim jacket in metallic silver. In preparing for this shoot I collaborated with Saks Fifth Avenue. I was surprised that on the floor dedicated to designers, everything was street wear inspired. there was bombers, hoodies, sweat pants T shirt, denim upon denim and tons of logo. On any given day, men from all economic levels participate in this thing we call FASHION, We love this, as fashion is now enjoyed by the masses. This is the way its suppose to be. In todays post, Isaiah Thompson, a newcomer to Ford models represents the new demographic for fashion consumption. He is also part of a new crop of black models taking over the fashion runways. This Portfolio photographed by Emil Sinanagic. Makeup by @Laursbymakeup101 for Laursbymakeup101.com. Hair by @osmanedacunha using Oribe at Ford Artists. Fashion Editor and Creative director, Patric Chauvez, of course. Thank you to Saks Fifth Avenue. “TELL THEM I SENT YOU”
