Pair of antique brass candlesticks depicting winged se horses . estimated circa 1920's. measures 7 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches at the base and 12 inches around at the top. the 3 creatures on thid are mythical sea horses from the Greek and Phonecian mythology. They have the upper body of a winged horse and the lower bodyof a fish.  there is a hole at the top  probably to accomodate a candle or a compote dish.
